ProxyBucket is back with a new blog post. ProxyBucket couldn’t update the blog frequently. We are sorry for delay. We promise to our readers that from today we will frequently update the blog with exciting new blog posts.

As far as today’s blog post is concerned, I am going to cover all the potential ways by which you can make money from your proxy sites.

There are various types of advertisements available but today you are only going to learn about CPC (Cost per click) and CPM (Cost per metric, 1000 impressions) advertisements.

CPC (Cost per click):

CPC advertisement is one of the most effective ways of publishing advertisements to your proxy sites. As soon as the visitor of your site clicks on your ads you get paid.

One of the biggest providers of CPC advertisements is Google Adsense but if you live in USA we recommend you to use Yahoo Publisher Network (geo targeted to USA traffic).

To expose the full earning potential of your website, we recommend you to blend the advertisements to the following ad spots of your website:

Adspot A – Two large rectangle ads unit above the proxy address form.

Adspot B - One horizontal link unit (5 ads per unit) below the address form.

Adspots

You are allowed by both Google Adsense and Yahoo Publisher Network to match the font colors and background of your website. For effective blending, do use them.

Please keep in mind to read the terms of services of every publisher. Adsense allows 3 and YPN only allows 3 ads per page.

Do not use google adsense on proxified pages, they violates adsense terms of services and involves 100% risk of account being terminated.

CPM (Cost per metric, 1000 hits):

CPM means cost per metric. For every 1000 impressions to the ads you will get paid. The price varies per country. USA traffic is of highest value in CPM advertisements.

The ads are not contextual. Most of the ads are animated gifs and flash files but also consist of static jpegs.

RECOMMENDED CPM networks:
Tribal Fusion

Casale Media
BurstMedia
Adbrite
FastClick

We recommend you to use the same Adsense ads format for CPM advertisements but instead of blending the CPM ad banners below and above the proxy address form on the proxified page bar, you should consider blending only ONE ad below the proxified page bar.

We hope that you like our latest blog post.

Thanks for reading.

Recommendation for ad spots C & D were removed because it violates the terms of service of the publisher networks.
