Reasons to add a contact form!

If you imagine the following scenario you would immediately understand why you need to add a contact form to your proxy website.

Scenario:

You are generating $100 per day through CPM advertisements from your proxified pages. You are absolutely satisfied that your sites might be running perfectly fine but maybe traffic from some ISP can’t advance to their requested proxified website. Now you are losing returning visitors and money.

Maybe there’s one of your loyal visitor who wants to report the error which you are entirely unaware of but he does not know how to contact you.

Now here comes a necessity of adding contact form. You MUST have easy to use contact form through which your site visitors can report you the site errors provide feedback for the site or request additional features.

You don’t need to know the submitter / reporter name or email address so make them optional fields. Add an easy to use drop down field with common options, for example: Report site issues, Send feedback and Request additional site features.

Add an easy to use spam prevention field which asks simple random questions like “What does 2+2 equals to?”

What about the threats?

Proxy business is a risky business. ISPs don’t like services/people who bypass their filters. Sometimes you might get threats via your contact form from ISPs to shut down your website as it’s violating their terms of service or they might ask you to ban their IP range (loss of visitors and money).

Obviously, you can’t hide your identity because the domain is registered with your legal details. They can easily search your contact details by your domain whois.

We won’t go into detail on how to prevent these types of situations but we will give you a hint, Use Disclaimers.

Until next time, live safely!

ProxyBucket is back with a new blog post. ProxyBucket couldn’t update the blog frequently. We are sorry for delay. We promise to our readers that from today we will frequently update the blog with exciting new blog posts.

As far as today’s blog post is concerned, I am going to cover all the potential ways by which you can make money from your proxy sites.

There are various types of advertisements available but today you are only going to learn about CPC (Cost per click) and CPM (Cost per metric, 1000 impressions) advertisements.

CPC (Cost per click):

CPC advertisement is one of the most effective ways of publishing advertisements to your proxy sites. As soon as the visitor of your site clicks on your ads you get paid.

One of the biggest providers of CPC advertisements is Google Adsense but if you live in USA we recommend you to use Yahoo Publisher Network (geo targeted to USA traffic).

To expose the full earning potential of your website, we recommend you to blend the advertisements to the following ad spots of your website:

Adspot A – Two large rectangle ads unit above the proxy address form.

Adspot B - One horizontal link unit (5 ads per unit) below the address form.

Adspots

You are allowed by both Google Adsense and Yahoo Publisher Network to match the font colors and background of your website. For effective blending, do use them.

Please keep in mind to read the terms of services of every publisher. Adsense allows 3 and YPN only allows 3 ads per page.

Do not use google adsense on proxified pages, they violates adsense terms of services and involves 100% risk of account being terminated.

CPM (Cost per metric, 1000 hits):

CPM means cost per metric. For every 1000 impressions to the ads you will get paid. The price varies per country. USA traffic is of highest value in CPM advertisements.

The ads are not contextual. Most of the ads are animated gifs and flash files but also consist of static jpegs.

RECOMMENDED CPM networks:
Tribal Fusion

Casale Media
BurstMedia
Adbrite
FastClick

We recommend you to use the same Adsense ads format for CPM advertisements but instead of blending the CPM ad banners below and above the proxy address form on the proxified page bar, you should consider blending only ONE ad below the proxified page bar.

We hope that you like our latest blog post.

Recommendation for ad spots C & D were removed because it violates the terms of service of the publisher networks.

Are you using a safe proxy?

Nowadays with the way the online market has gone, more and more people are seeking privacy and anonymity for their business and online endeavors. Not only to protect themselves from potentially unscrupulous clients but also to provide a slight amount of insulation should they ever need a buffer zone for any circumstance at all (whether that circumstance was predicted or unforeseen).

Proxy servers go a long way in fulfilling the needs of anonymity for the people that use them to power their business or online endeavors. It is essentially a server that is set up to be the point of contact for a website that is actually hosted elsewhere. When a person researches the website and the details behind the hosting, they will find out about the proxy server which, if set up correctly, will provide all the anonymity that a person requires.

The key phrase there is “if set up correctly.” A Proxy server that has been configured poorly or incorrectly is essentially useless, so once you have set up your proxy server, it is time to test it to see if it works. So how is it tested?

What are Proxy Judges?

Proxy judges are a means to the end of figuring out (a) if your proxy server is anonymous and (b) the level of anonymity provided by your proxy server. They are devices capable of analyzing the properties and actions of a server to determine its level of anonymity and most of them do this with a very high accuracy.

Proxy judges are scripts that can be installed to run server side and they work by manipulating the server in a way another script would but then looking at the results in detail. Proxy judges would start by making a request of the server and then providing a completely detailed analysis of the data that it gets back from the server through the request that is made. Proxy judges, once this analysis is complete, are capable of informing the proxy server owner how good or how bad their proxy server is.

How do Proxy Judges benefit you?

Well, based on the description, a couple of benefits should become immediately obvious right off the bat. Firstly, they allow you to judge the effectiveness and quality of your own proxy servers and make sure that they are operating at a level of effectiveness that you want (or maybe even need) for your online activities.

Secondly, they allow you to essentially run diagnostics on a wide list of proxy servers and basically build up a large list of good proxy servers. While it is easy to find proxy servers and add them to your list, only good proxy judges can allow you to accurately find and utilize truly anonymous proxy servers.

How do you use Proxy Judges?

Do not let the name “proxy judge” scare you and make you think that you have never used anything like this in the past. Proxy judge is merely a name; a title applied to something that when you come right down to it, is reasonably simple to operate.

Proxy judges work like any other server side scripting so if you understand the syntax involved, you are already good to go! In most cases you might not even need to understand the syntax involved, because many people have already written proxy judging scripts and offer them freely online to people that are looking for proxy judges.

One of the great things about the internet is the idea of collaboration and you should use this to your full advantage. If you have trouble with a concept or idea, just simply log on to one of the many forums on the internet where proxy servers and proxy judges are discussed and simply ask for help.

Proxy Servers

Proxy servers are a set of software programs on your firewall system that serve as a buffer in order to enable internet access to your system. The primary purpose of a proxy server is to save files that are requested by internet surfers in a special kind of database, known as, cache. This enables proxy servers to increase the internet connection speed. There are different types of proxy servers such as HTTP proxy server, NAT(Network Address Translation) proxy server, SSL proxy server, and FTP proxy server. Anonymous proxy servers are also a kind of proxy server, which enable to hide your IP address, thereby preventing unauthorized access to your computer. However, proxy servers are set up in different ways in different browsers such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla, and Netscape Navigator. I will outline by detail how to setup proxy servers in those browsers by detail with a video tutorial.

Every proxy server is inclusive of an IP address and a proxy port that is listed next to the address. Among the common proxy ports are Socks 4/5: 1080, Wingate: 23, and HTTP: 80, 81, 3128, 6588, 8080, 4480. IP Port Proxies represent the IP address as well as the port of a proxy server. They simply refer to the router’s interface that has been linked to the IP network of a proxy server, which in turn allows for IP bi-directional traffic to the internet. This enables for AOL’s connection to the internet. In other words, IP port proxies are TCP port, which are utilized to listen proxy requests. IP port proxies are mostly in the form of numeric text setting, which in turn enables for direct numeric input.

Depending upon its usages, a port proxy either serves as a connect time IP Port Proxy or a processing time IP Port Proxy. IP Port proxies that are based on connect time delegate binding calls to proxied ports. In this case, the communication usually occurs at non-proxy port levels. In contrast to connect time IP Port proxies, a processing time IP Port proxy serves as a complementary in or out port for internal ports.

IP Port proxies are typically installed or used to access inbound connections. One of the main benefits of IP Port Proxies is that they save a lot of time in importing the proxies. Further, IP Port proxies enable an advanced user to choose a non-standard proxy port in order to use with a specified host name.

However, IP Port proxies cannot be used when the proxy settings or features are disabled.

As far as you think that redirect won’t work, that is true therefore we’ve got an extra ordinary alternative for you. You can subscribe to ProxyBucket RSS feeds through e-mail.
